This disk contains an original typeface I designed for use on your Macintosh. This face was created on the Mac and is freeware; you may post it on any BBS or distribute it without charge to others as long as this file and the "Design Services" file accompanies it and the face itself remains unchanged in any way. The "Design Services" file outlines my background and capabilities, and is supplied in "Glue" format: It can be viewed on any Mac system, even if you do not have the appropriate fonts or applications installed. Simply double-click the "Design Services" documents 1 and 2, or launch the "Viewer" application and open them from within it. If you have any questions regarding viewing or installing any of this material, please call me at the above phone number and I will assist you.

  15. Typeface Installation Instructions
  16.  
  17. 1. Install the bitmap font into your System file with the Font/DA Mover.
  18. Double clicking on the .bmap file will start the Font/DA Mover. You must use Font/DA
  19. Mover version 3.8 or later. If you haven’t used Font/DA mover before, consult the Macintosh Utilities manual that came with your Macintosh. You may need to restart your Mac in order for the installed font to appear in your font menus.

  21. 2. Install the PostScript (printer) font file by dragging it into the System Folder. 
  22. It is the file that has an icon that looks like a LaserWriter. 
  23. (If you own Suitcase II or MasterJuggler, consult their manuals for the proper 
  24. installation of PostScript files.)

  26. 3. Unless you know what it is, you can throw away the AFM file. This file is
  27. mainly useful for computers other than the Macintosh.
  28.  
  29. 4. This is a Type 1 font, compatible with Adobe Type Manager, Suitcase II, 
  30. and Master Juggler. If you are running ATM, you need only install the 
  31. 10 and 12, and 24 point sizes; consult the ATM, Suitcase II, or Master Juggler  
  32. manuals for complete details on installing new typefaces.
